Probably - Try small rats (body size up to 5 inches). The snake will not attempt to eat food that is too big for it to cope with.
A neonate ( baby ) ball python needs to eat every 3 to 4 days until it is at least 200 grams. It is best to feed it pinky rats rather than mice if it will accept them. For a ball python being raised as a pet rather than a breeder it can be fed ever 5 to 7 days once it is in the juvinile stages.
As a baby they should eat weekly, as adults every 2-3 weeks.
Well my one year old royal python has always eaten very large live rats bi-weekly....however it has been 3½ weeks since she last ate and the rat i bought is a bit bigger then usual and it seems like she is scared of the rat and wont eat it....so to answer your question YES....it may be posssible that the rat is to big!!!
(1.5 cats --> 1.5 rats) in 1.5 days. (1 cat --> 1 rat) in 1.5 days It takes 50 cats (50/1.5) = (33 and 1/3)days to eat 50 rats.
Sure, but consider these things.1. It is not good to feed a ball python live because a live mouse or rat can kill or seriously injure a snake.2. Do you really want to change?3. Your python may not eat and become scared.
I usually feed my baby ball python 1 LIVE mouse every 2 weeks.I don't know why people say its not good.if its not good than why do people sell mice that our suppose to be for snakes A baby ball python should be started on rat pups as it's very difficult to switch them to rats, they are very finicky eaters. When they get bigger it's going to take a LOT of mice to feed them. My adult male is 3.5 ft long and could easily take 6 mice in one sitting without even getting a lump in his belly. As it is, he eats 2-3 medium rats every 2-3 weeks. If you want to feed live, that's your choice just watch until your snake begins eating so the mouse or rat does not kill your snake. You will have to deal with scars though. It would be cheaper to buy frozen/thawed since pet stores are trying to discourage buying their rats and mice for snake food by making live mice and rats unreasonably priced. You can buy f/t in bulk and they will last longer. A few months rather than a few days or weeks (when a rat/mouse will become too large for you snake).
Put a cup full of food in and they'll eat it when they want to
It depends on the size of the snake. Newly-hatched specimens will take small to medium-sized mice. As the snake grows - so does it's appetite... Adult (growing to around 3 metres) will feed on large rats.
1.rats are intelligent. 2.rats love to be petted. 3.rats like to ride in pockets or shoulders.
You should eat banana, but eat it about 2-3 hours before you eat. Another thing you can do is, the night before your football game, eat pasta. Pasta is rich in fiber and has a complex carbohydrates which is what athletes need.
