Yes they can. The new iPod Touches are simply cheaper and have a bigger and faster memory. They are the exact same design as the 2nd generation
The new ipods are sure as hell not cheaper, but you can upgrade the downloading system for free on the 2nd generation and the 2nd generation willl be pretty much the same as the new ones. Unless you already have an advanced downloading system then you would have to pay like $10 or something but it saves you over $200.
No. Although it is possible that it would fit, the camera that is on the 4th generation ipod touch would be covered up with a second generation case.
You shouldn't use an iPod Touch case designed for the second and third generations on a fourth generation iPod Touch. The fourth generation iPod Touch has a camera and microphone, so the third generation case would cover both of those up, and would not fit it anyway.
There is no such thing as an iPod Touch 5th generation.
no the 4th gen has a camera but the 2nd doesnt
The second generation iPod Touch does not have a built-in microphone, but you can connect the new iPod earphones with the controls, which does have a microphone and will work with the second generation iPod Touch.
A second generation iPod touch costs $200 if you buy it new
ipod touch 2nd generation
The second generation iPod Touch does not have the capabilities to handle multitasking. You cannot get multitasking on the second generation iPod Touch.
Yes, a 2nd generation iPod Touch case will fit a 3rd generation iPod Touch.
Possibly, possibly not. If you have the first generation iPod Touch, it will definitely not fit. If you have a 3rd generation iPod Touch, it will most likely fit.
if you are talking about a case it would depend on what generation the iPod touch is
This only works on iPod touch third generation, iPad,or iPhone and you have to have iOS 4. If you are using the second generation, you will have to jailbreak you iPod touch.
