No. The blood type is possible with the B coming from the mother and nothing coming from the father. The Rh factor however is not possible. One parent must have it to pass it.
I think of the blood types as two per person. The A and B for the mother and the father has an A and an O. So the possible combinations are:
Two A's giving a baby with A
A and B giving a baby with AB
A and O giving a baby with A
B and O giving a baby with B
If both parents are Rh - then the child will be.
If both or either parent is Rh + then the child can be either + or -.
A or B
If my mother is b- and my dad is b+ could there be a child ab- please
No!
Yes, this is totally possible.
ab+ a+ b+
Yes, it is possible for both mother and father to be RH positive and a child to be RH negative.
No, the child can be either A+ or O+...
No. it is not that possible. but hower it could happen
Yes.
No. The mother must be either AO or AA, and the father OO. No combination of these can give rise to an AB child. However, a negative mother and a positive father can have a negative child, by rhesus factors, if the father has genotype +-.
For a baby with AB blood type : both parents should be AB. or one is AB and the other is B. or one is A and the other is B.
The father can be A-, A+, AB-, or AB+
