Both religions recommend against it for good reasons as stated by Dan Galilee. From a Christian point of view, Paul gave the advice to "marry only in the lord" or only to those who have the same belief as yourself. (1 Corinthians 7:39) Marriage is a lifelong commitment and if you have different fundamental core beliefs you will be fighting an even harder battle to make it work.
