You can . But it will be out of charge when the battery charge in finished .So either you have to plug it somewhere and charge or else you will need a car charger so that it is never out of charge . in my opinion having a car charger is much more convenient as you do not have to worry about charging it .
One can purchase a Garmin car charger from many stores and websites. For instance, one could find Garmin car chargers at Walmart, Over Stock, and Office Depot.
The only accessories you need for a Garmin is a computer to register it, and a car charger to charge the GPS in the car while in use. Other than that there is nothing you need.
There is a Car Vent Mount for the Garmin N_vi series that is extremely sturdy, and can have the charger cord attached to it as well. You can find more about this series' Mount here: http://www.amazon.com/Vent-Mount-Garmin-Nuvi-200W/dp/B000KJBMCQ
To charge the nuvi 205, simply connect a Mini USB cable to the device. You can then plug the other end into your computer. If you have a USB to AC adapter you can use that as well. The unit also comes with a USB to 12v car adapter for use in your vehicle.
You can get a Tom-tom or a Garmin for under $200. They will install in your car with suction cups and you will charge them with your car-charger spot.

No a car cannot run without the alternator installed. All the components in a car have their specific function and any missing piece will cause the car not to run.
Yes. It can be installed to your car without having a turbo. Your car will operate the same whether you have a turbo installed or not.
Hook it to a battery charger.
The specifications for both the AC adapter and the requirements for the Garmin (or the specifications for the AC adapter for that Garmin) would have to be known. Even if they were compatible, an "adapter" would have to be fabricated to fit on the end of the AC adapter and "convert" that plug (changing its "size" and, if necessary, its polarity) to one compatible with the Garmin. Either that or the plug on the end of the Blackberry adapter would have to be replaced with one that fits the Garmin. And then the adapter won't fit the Blackberry. : Yes it can. My Blackberry car charger works fine with the Garmin 255WT so the pin outs and polarity are the same. The plug fit was somewhat loose and occasionally disconnects if wiggled. : The easy way to check compatibility is to find out if there is a generic charger that works for both devices. If there is then the original cord will likely work for both as well. (As long as the generic charger does not use two different adapter plugs for the two devices you are trying to hook up)
