Absolutely NOT!!! No matter how responsible, 16 years old is not an appropriate age to stay home alone for that amount of time.
A six week old puppy can stay home alone about a day maybe 2 but they need to be watched almost all the time.
i stayed home a lone for a week when I was 16, my neighbors were like hawks watching me and making sure i was smart in my decisions. i honestly think it's a maturity issue not an age issue.
Foals usually stay with their mothers for about a week alone. eventually they join the harem again. they leave the harem and their mother all together after a year or when the head of the harem kicks them out.
While filming, they stay in Jersey for 2 months.
i dont know but i did get to stay there for free

About a week
Well it depends on the 17 year old really. Some teens are extremely untrustworthy (and of course you as a parent would know that) so leaving him at home alone for a week may not be a good idea (especially if you still want your house to be standing upright when you return)... However some teenage boys are the epitamy of common sense and responsibility. If you have any doubt in your mind in leaving your 17yr old home alone, then go with your instinct. Alternatively, if your son has a good friend that he could stay with for a week (whose parents will be home) then he could go to his friends house maybe?
yes

After I removed two of my wisdom teeth I stayed home for at least 1 week
Gandalf and Bilbo stayed at Beorn's home for one week on their way back to Hobbiton
Home refinancing rates vary week by week depending on the economic situation of the country. Typically refinancing rates stay around 3.96 percent to 4 percent.

Yes Im 16 and I travel from NYC to L.A. every summer alone. Im treated like anyother passenger you just need to know what you doing especially if its your first time fliying. Oh and as far as hotel stays I have never had a problem usually over spring brake a friend and I fly to Amsterdam and stay there for a week. I have never tried renting a car though Im not sure about the US but it would deff be a no in Europe where the driving age is 18.
