Well they probably wouldn't "walk" very well not like a dog or anything but you can get harnesses and leashes and you could put them on it and let them wander around a grassy area (instead of using an enclosure) but you need to be careful that they don't eat something that is poisonous and there is always the chance that they could get fleas or mites.
Yes. A guinea pig can be on a leash that is for guinea pigs ONLY. if you put the guinea pig on a dogs leash it might not be as comfortable as their kind of leashes. Guinea pigs hav to get use to wearing the leash before you walk it. If you just put the leash on the guinea pig, it won't walk because it wouldn't know what to do. If you put it on everyday and tug a little to the guinea pig, it will understand to walk. If you just go along and tug it, you will be hurting the guinea pig and the guinea pig wouldn't be walking, you will just be pulling it around.VERY DANGEROUS to tug the guinea pig around. Just take your time with he/she getting use to the leash and you will be walking with he/she in no time.
y If its not to hot! and you have a leash! :) Some times they'll cowaperate!
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
You should not keep your guinea pig outside in the winter! They're natural climate is not cold and they cannot handle the cold. Your pig probably has a respiratory infection and she needs to see a vet right away. Please, please keep your guinea pig inside, even if it is just in your warm basement. They cannot handle winter weather. put the f%$# guinea pig inside!
You should not keep the cage outside anyway. I suggest getting a new cage and keeping it inside. It may be cold for your guinea pig outside. If you didn't keep the cage outside earwigs would not have got to it.
The phenotype of the black guinea pig is black, and the pheno type of the white guinea pig is white.
no they hate it. My guinea pig tries to eat the leash in half.
You can't get them to walk on a leash normally. This is because they are not dogs and wander everywhere when they are on a leash. You can buy leashes from pet shops but you have to keep in mind that the guinea pig will not follow you, you have to follow it.
try a pet store
Your guinea pig will be totally fine
put it on a leash and take it for a walk or a run if u want to
y If its not to hot! and you have a leash! :) Some times they'll cowaperate!
if your guinea pig is socked help it dry with a towle and take it inside if it is outside.
In winter, your guinea pig should be indoors. Ask someone to help you search for it.
well you really want to lose your guinea pig's) OK but my dad said it was a bad idea to take them on a walk. They soon will probably find a way to get out of the leash
give it to your dog and bye a new, more intersting pet.
Really, the best thing for a guinea pig would be to get it a friend, but if you cannot do this for some reason, a mirror attached to the OUTSIDE of the cage will work too. It has to be placed on the outside, unless it has been tested safe for the pigs.
No, do not leave them in the frost! They will die if you do.
