Well they probably wouldn't "walk" very well not like a dog or anything but you can get harnesses and leashes and you could put them on it and let them wander around a grassy area (instead of using an enclosure) but you need to be careful that they don't eat something that is poisonous and there is always the chance that they could get fleas or mites.

∙ 15y agoYes. A guinea pig can be on a leash that is for guinea pigs ONLY. if you put the guinea pig on a dogs leash it might not be as comfortable as their kind of leashes. Guinea pigs hav to get use to wearing the leash before you walk it. If you just put the leash on the guinea pig, it won't walk because it wouldn't know what to do. If you put it on everyday and tug a little to the guinea pig, it will understand to walk. If you just go along and tug it, you will be hurting the guinea pig and the guinea pig wouldn't be walking, you will just be pulling it around.VERY DANGEROUS to tug the guinea pig around. Just take your time with he/she getting use to the leash and you will be walking with he/she in no time.
