It is definitly possible for it to be wrong. Your HCG hormone may not have been up high enough to read off the test. Your cycle wait would still be about a week away, I would at least consider waiting now until the day of a missed period, unless you are having symptoms of pregnancy, then try in another couple of days. I just hate to see you waste money on a test because you are testing a little too soon. I wish the best to you whatever your decision!!!!!!!!!!!
