When you are dealing with puppies you should feed them 4-5 times a day so I wouldn't recommend leaving him but he shouldn't be in too much trouble. Also, they have to pee every 3-4 hours until they are a year old, so prepare for a mess when you get home or have someone let then out for you at the 3 hour mark.
i believe every 4 to 6 hours
flea infestation can cause a puppy to develop anemia and die if left untreated
A 6-week-old puppy typically sleeps around 18-20 hours a day.
You do realise that there are only twenty-four hours in a day, right? Generally, a dog shouldn't be left alone for more than four hours. My Labrador Retriever is seven months old and is left alone for four hours in the morning, then I will come home at lunchtime for an hour, then he will be left alone for another four hours before I finish work.
A 6-week-old puppy sleeps for about 18-20 hours a day on average.
A 12-week-old puppy typically needs to pee every 1-2 hours during the day.
Puppy training is continual. You should set aside thirty minutes to an hour to work with the puppy on specific things, but you have to reinforce the behavior you are teaching the puppy all the time. You need to reward the puppy when it does what you want it to (ie, treats, playing with the puppy) and scold it when it does something bad (ie saying no, bad,).
you have to make sure you feed it twice a day had one of those. if they are an puppy make they go outside two hours a day.
A dog can be left alone for several hours during the day with proper training and conditioning. A good rule of thumb for young dogs is that they can refrain from using the bathroom for one hour per every month of their age. So, a six month old puppy can be left alone for roughly six hours without needing to have a potty break.
it would be ok if you left them in there for 6 hours per day
NO. you should not bthe a puppy his first day home
It is recommended to spend at least 1-2 hours a day with your puppy for proper care and bonding. This time should include activities such as feeding, grooming, training, and playtime to build a strong bond with your puppy.
