No, there isn't anywhere to connect the two.
Transfers can be made from GBA to DS versions however. I don't know about HeartGold and SoulSilver yet, but you can transfer pokémon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen to Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum though PalPark.
