We bought 2 Nintendo ds lites in Florida in August and they work fine here but you must buy a new adaptor at the cost of about €12 as the charger/adaptor supplied is not compatible here. You can get the new adaptor/chargers in Smyths or Game.

The charger is too small for the regular DS, unless you have a universal charger, but I don't know about the accessory packs.What I use for my original Nintendo ds, is us a USB cable, for a Nintendo ds lite charger....well.....i don't know....
