yes i believe if you can take it apart there is a certain component inside that was probably damaged because it went through the wash and i am not sure but i believe its your average button cell battery replace it and it should save but i only 80% sure about this so i would call Nintendo.
not in my case
you lost your Pokemon and items because you did the cloning wrong so it just erases what ur cloning.
If you restart the game, it erases all data, so no.
I only erases your Pokemon from Leaf Green and that is because it just does. You have to make a choise to either keep them on Leaf Green or to migrate them.-hope this helped if not notify me. Fireheart997's Improved Answer: The other possible reason that this is happening is (and I've experienced it) you may have a fake or foreign copy. When you trade/send Pokemon to another GBC/GBA/console game with a fake/foreign copy your data will be automatically erased; it says so in most of the Pokemon games manuals.
because you need to save your game before trading a put your memory card connected with your gb memory card
your game save erases. Seriously. It does not> I got beat by red and i just ended up back at the pokecenter at the bottom of the mountain
one erases pencil marks and the other erases pen ink
bug zappers
go to Lilycove and go up the stairs and go to the left and he`s in one of the small houses if it doesn`t work i don`t know
look press a+b start and select when you turn it on then enter the id but it erases all the codes thats your only choice
you cant. your game is stuffed
Cry.
