To make a baby sick you can expose your baby to people that are sick. Bringing the baby around people who have been sick exposes they smaller immune system and most likely the baby will catch the illness.
Why would you want to torture a baby!! You sick sick person!!
Well its a little late to say no.. So i suggest checking the babys snot. If it is clear, the baby is fine and you can have an enjoyable evening as planned. If the babys snot is gree (sign of infection) you may ask that mommy take her baby back home because you cannot risk getting yourself or the peopkle in your home sick too. If the babys snot is clear but the baby has a fever, you can administer fever relief (Infants Motrin, Infants Tylenol..) but make sure you read the box for how much and how often. All in all, if the snot is clear- so are your chances of getting sick.. and if the baby really IS sick- you can either take your chances or find a way out of babysitting
If the bedding is clean, there is no reason to expect your baby to get sick from chewing on his bedding. anonymous@oola.com
