maybe
100 to multiple thousands of USD depending on how old it is, who did the engraving, whether it was done at the facotory or aftermarket, whether any precious metals or stones were used/inlaid, finish, grips, barrel length, age, accessories, papers, box, etc..
Yes.. I have one of my own. Its JCPenney Brand and its old.
F is the highest grade ( you can have F w/ gold inlay but it's still an F sometimes referred to a F Premier). This means it's the highest level of Engraving, wood, and checkering.Simple Engraving starts with D, (no animals), and works up.Frankly I don't know about modern stuff buy typically the old Remington D,E,F's had hand engraved serials and often the -D,E, or F.
i dont know. i think it is
"HG" in an old English font.
The drawing (a rebus or pictogram) is meant to convey the Bible saying "There is nothing new under the sun."
There are 1,189 chapters and over 31,000 verses in the Bible (Old and New Testament) based on the King James Version. The Catholic Bible, however, has additional books in the Old Testament, which adds to the total number of chapters and verses.
Not sure of the value but i have that exact same 20 gauge with the same engraving on it that my mother gave to me and she got it new as a gift 2 years after i was born so that would make it around 28 years old. Its also the best shotgun ive ever owned.
The devil is in the details. Is it factory nickel and engraving? You would need to get it lettered by Colt to find out if it left the factory the way it is now. If not, it would then depend on how old the nickel is and how good it was done. Same thing with the engraving. What is the barrel length? What are the grips made out of? What caliber is it chambered for? How much of the finish remains? Without knowing these things and many more, the best I can do is give you a price range of a few hundred to possibly multiple thousands.
