YES IT CAN BEND A VALVE WHEN THE TIMING CHAIN BROKE VALVE TRAIN NOT MOVING AND THE CRANK IS STILL MOVING CAUSING PISTON TO COME IN CONTACK WITH THE VALVE THAT WAS OPEN
