It is possible
If it is chambered for it.
A regular pistol is a firearm. It uses gunpowder to fire a bullet. An air pistol uses compressed air to fire a pellet with less velocity than a firearm.
No such thing. It is a typo. A 45 mm pistol would fire a bullet larger than a golf ball. I think you are looking for a .45 CALIBER pistol. That is a handgun that fires a bullet about 45/100ths of an inch in diameter. Perhaps the two best known are the 45 Colt Peacemaker type revolver of cowboy fame, and the 1911A1 .45 Automatic Pistol, used by the US Army.
A barrel is the part that holds the shot shell or casing that the bullet or BBs go down towards the target. In a Center fire rifle or pistol the barrel has rifling to help stabilize the bullet after it has left the muzzle
Pistol of Fire was created in 2005.
The .58 caliber rifled musket, such as the Springfield Model 1861, fires a lead Minie ball, which is a conical bullet designed to expand upon firing for a better seal in the rifled barrel. When the trigger is pulled, the firing pin strikes the percussion cap, igniting the gunpowder and creating gas pressure that propels the bullet down the barrel. The rifling, or spiral grooves inside the barrel, imparts a spin to the bullet, enhancing accuracy and stability over longer distances. This combination of features allows the musket to deliver effective fire at ranges up to several hundred yards.
The single-action trigger performs only the one action of releasing the hammer to fire the bullet. The hammer must be cocked for this to occurr.
It made accurate long range fire possible.
A rifled barrel means that there are multiple small grooves cut into the inside of the barrel in a spinning motion. The number of grooves, rate of twist, and wether it is counter clockwise or clockwise depends on the caliber and manufacturer. The reason you rifle barrels is to put spin on the bullet so that it is more stable during flight.
If you mean a pistol from the year 1750, MOST held 1 bullet, rarely, 2 bullets. This was still in the era of flintlock guns, loaded with loose powder and ball. No revolvers, no cartridge firearms. Most firearms were single shot- rarely, a two barreled gun that could fire one bullet from each barrel.
