a date can be as long as you wish. if you feel uncomfortable or dont think its heading anywhere end it then and there. if its going really well it could be more than three hours. my first date went for 2-3 hours and went really well even though we weren't together. our second date was when he asked me out it was shorter but that was only cause i had a family emergency. my point is, the date should only be as long as either of you feel comfortable with.
