Yes, you can use files saved on Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (but not the other way around).
you must save as "PowerPoint97-2003" Presentation in PowerPoint 2007. But I do not think it is an good idea "save as PowerPoint 97-2003". Because there are some effect in PowerPoint 2007 can not show in PowerPoint 2003. And after "save as", you can find it will be much bigger than before. I think you can finish your file in PowerPoint 2007
You do not. It must be saved in compatibility mode for you to open it with office 2003.
No, you will need to covert it first (on the computer wih 2007):1. Make sure you do not have the PowerPoint open that you wish to convert and that your work is saved.2. Rename the PowerPoint from "---.pptx" to "---.ppt".This should have converted it and should now be viewable on computers without PowerPoint 2007 or the PowerPoint 2007 Viewer.
Yes you can. You can even save it in PowerPoint 2007 so that you can open it PowerPoint 2003. Note: I have not found any problems with this.
Yes. Since PowerPoint 2003 is older than PowerPoint 2007, 2007 can open an earlier version of PowerPoint. But Earlier version cannot open later versions like 2003 cannot open 2007 files.
No, software is rarely 'backwards compatible' - Office 2007 should be happy to work with version 2003 files, but Office 2003 will likely reject 2007 files, due to it not being capable of understanding enhancements made after the Office 2003 software was written.
Do a Save As, and pick the 2003 version. It can then be opened by any of the 3 versions. Depending on what is in the original document, it is possible that you could lose some things. Most Excel spreadsheets will not lose anything when they are saved into an earlier version.
Open your 2003 PowerPoint in Powerpoint 2007Go to filesave as...replace the old PowerPoint and make sure the new PowerPoint save as type says PowerPoint 2007 or .pptx or something similar to this
You can not simply downgrade Microsoft Publisher. In order to install Publisher 2003, you must have the installation media for Publisher 2003. Just save it as a Publisher 2003 file instead of 2007
Yes. PowerPoint 2007 (and 2010) support loading presentations that were made in older PowerPoint version.
No It Won't
