Can a dog have a cold?
yes a dog can have a cold! you can keep it warm and put vicks on it's nose but be sure this is just a cold . dog's can have other disorders that may apear to be a cold such as allergies or worse distemper if simptoms worsen or the dog's temperature (taken rectally) goes above 101 get it to your vet
Dogs usually do not get what we call a cold, it is usually an allergy or infection, virus here is link to canine allergies
It depends on the dog, and how long it is outside. A dog that has a thin coat of fur and is otherwise not made for cold weather will be effected much more than a dog with a thick fur coat and bred to withstand the cold (such as a Husky). A dog, without proper shelter and warmth from cold weather can become sick.
That depends on the size of the dog and how much fur it has. A small short-haired dog would probably be uncomfortable in the cold, but as much as a human with no coat. Of course, most animals would be very cold if they did not have enough protection and it was cold enough. A large dog such as a husky that has a lot of fur would probably not feel the cold at all.
No like what kind of question is that a dog cannot get a cold from a cat and a cat cannot get a cold from a dog (wow there are some dumb people in this world that its unbelievable!!!!) I am not sure who answered the above^, but, yes a cat can give a dog a cold and visa-versa. Obviously no research was done. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_dog_catch_cold_from_a_cat&action=editrelatedlink Often people that assume others are stupid for asking a…
