NO as rabies germs are present in its saliva only not the nails. As if there is a case that the dog has dirty nails due to which it gets bacterial and also the dog licks his own claw and nails due to which the saliva gets transmit into claw or nails they get virus .As rabies virus is in saliva of animals. Also there must be precaution from licking of animal which contain rabies on cut or wound surface of body as then the virus through saliva gets transmitted into body.
Yeah, if the monkey has rabies.
no ,it cant occor
Rabies can be transmitted through a wound, scratch or abrasion when it comes in contact with the saliva of a rabid animal, and through a scratch inflicted by an animal if fresh saliva is on the nail of the animal that inflicts the scratch. Further, rabies can be airborne in bat caves.
If a dog actually has rabies, there is nothing you can do for it. You need to call the pound as soon as possible before he transfers the virus to people or other animals. A dog with rabies is incredibly dangerous. There is a rabies vaccine, but if a dog does not have the vaccine and catches the virus, there is no cure at that point.
if you get bitten by a dog with rabies you might get them
Yes you can get rabies.
Absolutely, if the body is relatively fresh and the rabies can still feed off of it.
Yes. A Person can have a reaction to the Rabies Shots that are given to counter the Rabies Virus. Just as a person can have a reaction to any medication. However, if the dog was found to not have Rabies then the reaction will not have anything to do with the person having/getting rabies.
Rabies can only occur if your dog is not vaccinated against rabies and if the dog that bit your dog has rabies. If it does not have rabies then your dog will not have rabies. But if you're still in doubt, see your Veterinarian.
You cannot test the dog, take it to the veterinarian.
