The speed of an engine connected to an alternator is generally maintained as constant & the variation of load is taken care of by the engine governor which accordingly increases` the fuel rack or decreases the fuel rack & thus the fuel input to the engine. All of this happens at a constant engine speed maintained by the governor. If without any change in the load on the engine, the fuel supply is increased , may be because of defective governor, the engine speed will immediately shoot-up causing activation of Over Speed Trip assembly ( a safety device fitted on the engine to prevent damage to the reciprocating & rotating engine components from incresaed speeds).
When input to generator increased when it is synchronised, speed of alternator get disturbed which inturn leads to the change in frequency, when frequency gets change synchronization is no long.
For me I used Cheat Engine and increased the speed by x5
Get a bigger engine. Or keep current engine and reduce drag
The stock engine on a Honda City Express moped is 49cc. Speed can be increased by using high grade gasoline.
Hit and miss governing controls engine speed by opening the exhaust valve and cutting off the ignition (spark)
Depends on whether you have the synchronised gearbox (more common in Europe) or the unsynchronised gearbox (such as an Eaton-Fuller or Rockwell).
Around 75 MPH. Can be increased by using different sprocket sets and or tuning of the engine.
increased
Anything causing the engine to fail. Slow speeds can cause a stall in the engine, giving it no more forward speed, making it plummet to the ground unless the speed is increased. In propeller engines, rocks, bullets, and pieces of metal can break apart the prop. In jet engines, because of their increased suction in the front of the engine, anything from small springs, gravel, or small rocks can make the engine fail dramatically.
governor senses the speed of spindle of engine and controls the mechanism of opening and closing of throttle valve
Athrottle valve controls the flow of steam to the engine. Without throttling the steam the engine will simply run full speed and vary in speed as the load increases and decreases. The throttle valve maintains a steady speed by opening as the load increases and closing as the load decreases.
governor has 3 modes of operation 1.SPEED CONTROL MODE-before sychronisation the governor runs in speed control mode.guide vanes open up and the turbine runs in the rated speed.when the governor gets connected to the grid that is when it gets synchronised then the speed control mode terminates. 2.OPENING MODE-load is increased in this mode and teh machine runs in the rated speed only. 3.POWER CONTROL MODE-it has two modes.joint controller and indivisual controller mode.in joint controller mode all the machine works all together and in the indivisual controller one setup point is given to the governor and the guide vanes vary accordingly
