The question raises more questions than it asks.
What is the child's age? Who or what did they run away from? Is there a custody order in effect?
If the child's custody was the subject of a court order granting custody to the mother rather than you, then, yes, you could be acting unlawfully. You could be facing civil contempt of court charges, and possible criminal charges for harboring a runaway.
Acting in such a manner would jeapordize any effort you might wish to make to gain custody (or visitation) of the child.
Better that you should petition the court which awarded custody to reconsider the action and be able to base the peitiion on factual grounds that might convince the
judge to reconsider thier decision.
Take the child where?
Only in cases of illegitimate births. Well, the mother can take the child but she can't stop the child from seeing the father. the child deserves to see the father in their life. The father can also take the child back and the parents can share time with the child. Or the child can make his/her own decision to live with the mother or father.
A step-father will not be able to adopt a child unless the father signs away his rights. You can take it to court and win the case.
yes the child's father has to notified. and they will ask the father and if he does not want to take the child then they will ask other family members and if no family members want the child then they go to the God parents and if the God parents cant take it then they take the child to a foster home
no
Child support for the grandchild is the responsibility of the grandchilds father, not the grandchild. If the father is a minor, you can take his parents to court for support.
no the mother should have the legal obligation to take care of the child
The only way a mother can take a child away from the custodial father for a few months is if the custodial father approves of it in writing, and the Court approves it if the child is taken out of the State. Without approval from the father, the child can only be taken if: 1. The mother has Sole legal custody of the child. 2. There are no orders that the father be allowed any visitation.
call the police and then take him to Cort
You can and should file as soon as the child is born.
Yes, just because a father gets remarried this does not mean that he doesn't have to care for his child.
The father may take the child if and only if the child is not safe where it is and is happy to go with the father. You could leave a note and make sure that you leave a contact for the mother. Otherwise you may not. However the mother may not take the child from the father withot permission either. If you were to do this without good reason then it could be held against oyu in the court of law.
