Yes, I have had my betta for 2 years now and it is in a small betta bowl (1.8 gallons) and is doing great. I really wouldn't get anything 1/2 gallons or smaller 1 gallon tank is small enough as it it. If you decide to have a small tank or bowl try not to over fill it with plants and other decorations (give your fish some space) :) you can still decorate but make sure your fish has some breathing room. Also with small tank you have to clean it freakently which isn't a problem once you get into a rutine. Cleaning every other day is a good idea. People might tell you to clean every day but I wouldn't do this as it might stress out your fish.
No, all aquarium kept fish need filtration
The amount of space a fish needs to thrive in its environment depends on the species of fish. Some fish require more space to swim and explore, while others can thrive in smaller tanks or ponds. It is important to research the specific needs of the fish species to ensure they have enough space to live comfortably and stay healthy.
The fish is scared so he vomits up his food as a sort of shield from the outside world. Stay away from your fish at first
they eat small mammals, fish, crabs, frogs and birds
Hi, The Fighter fish (Siamese Fighting fish) always likes to stay alone and if some other fishes are added it will start attack or feel depressed which affects its health. But zebra fish is a good choice to keep with fighter fish as it swims so fast fighter fish cant reach it at any moment. Gold fish - is a wrong choice as it has flowing fins which makes fighter fish to attack it willingly...
They ended up staying in the mountains.
they do not stay on by glue i am not sure why they stay on but my answer would be they gorw on them.
A fish that is larger than the fighting fish itself, like a shark or ray, or even a large alligator gar. Other smaller fish though, unless they're the type that are careful to stay out of the fighting fish's way at all times, should not be put in with such a fish.

The 'Japanese fighting fish' is another name for the fish correctly named Betta splendens. They only fight with others of the same species. That means you can keep most fish species that enjoy similar environmental conditions with them.
No, even if it is a big fish or small fish, it cannot stay in a bag for eight hours! The maximum a fish can stay in a plastic bag is 2 hours. If you leave it in there for more than 2 hours, the water temperature will increase. This makes the fish go crazy! It will be very stressed. 75% or stressed fish die! Also, it doesn't have any food! Think about this!
He was fighting to stay out of goal for child molestation charges.
