Many types of crayfish and crabs can coexist peacefully. However there are a few caveats. 1) Be sure that your FW crabs are truly suited to freshwater. Osmosis (the transfering of liquid across membranes to "equalize" the particle densities) can kill your crabs if they are a brackish (FW/SW mix). 2) Different species of crabs and crayfish have varying degrees of aggression. Some species would rather hide than fight... others would rather fight than hide. This also means that the more aggressive species (in my experience the crab) will get all the food while the cowardly species will starve. 3) Beware of size differences. Many species of crayfish will out-size crabs, possibly moving the crabs into the realm of 'lunch'. 4) If you are only planning on having an 'invertebrate' tank (no fish, just crustaceans), good. Some fish will be quickly torn apart by some species of crabs or crayfish. 5) Many humans enjoy the taste of crustaceans. So do many fish. So, to finally answer your question: maybe, it depends, yes, no. Careful research can lead you to find compatible crabs, crayfish and fish. Good luck!
They can be in the same tank, but if your shrimp are too small the crabs will eat them.
Crabs are likely to rip bits off any fish you put with them.
yes if u want the crabs to eat them
no
The fresh water crab lives in fresh water, water without salt. Salt water crab has gills that process the salt away. And those stay in salt water places like hmm oceans
Yes.
fiddler crabs drink fresh water.
depending on the species both
No hermit crabs need distilled water for fresh water (which they drink), and need SEA salt water for them to bathe in (so the exoskeleton gets stronger)
What I do for my hermit crabs is I take a shallow hermit crab dish (found at pet stores), fill it with fresh NATURAL SPRING WATER (all other water will kill crabs. trust me!), and put in a hermit crab sponge (also found at pet stores). This way they can pleasantly have their NATURAL SPRING WATER (remember that!) without drowning.
crab
Usually at the bottom of the sea.... they are bottom-dwellers from saltiest water to the almost fresh water of the back bays.

Yes. Every living thing needs water.
I'm assuming you have access to a fresh water crab because a Betta will not be able to live in salt water. The crab will attempt to catch and eat the slow moving Betta. It is only a matter of time before the Betta is killed.
Yes, Hermit crabs can survive in salt water but they dont live as long in water as they do on land
