Not likely but possible.
Possibly..Could also be the fuel pump or the plug-in on the fuel pump has melted, or the fuel pump relay, or the fuse that goes to the fuel pump, or even the fuse the goes to the computer(ECM) or maybe even a wire leading to the fuel pump has gotten damaged... Could also be wires leading to the injectors came unpluged/damaged.
No fuel in fuel tank (inaccurate fuel gauge), Fuel pump motor is running but not pumping (pump failure), Plugged solid fuel filter, Pinched or damaged fuel lines,
IF it has the Fuel Pump in the gas tank the hose used, could have knocked the pick-up off or damaged the fuel pump-(most fuel injected cars have the pump in the tank)
clogged filtersclogged injectorspitted combustors and turbine bladescorrosionpossible flame outpossible crashIt goes way beyond pump.
An empty fuel tank A defective fuel pump A plugged fuel filter Damaged fuel lines A week injector pump
The fuel pump fuse on a 1991 Plymouth Laser is located in the engine compartment's fuse box. It prevents the fuel pump from being damaged by an electrical surge.
A clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump or the fuel line is blocked/damaged. What about a fuel relay fuse?
Could be, Fuel tank is empty, Fuel pump failure, Bad fuel pump relay, Dirty fuel filter, Blown fuse, Damaged electrical wiring/connectors,
I don't see how, when the fuel pump is in the fuel tank and the MAF. sensor is under the hood in the air intake hose.
you could have a short in your wiring, or your fuel pump might need to be replaced(short, damaged, draws too much power)
The fuel filter is located inside the fuel pump housing. It should never need replaced unless it is damaged.
The fuse for the fuel pump on a Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD is located in the engine compartment in the main fuse box. It prevents the pump from being overloaded and damaged due to a surge.
