Low/no fuel pressure, fuel pressure that starts out ok but fades after the engine is running a while, noisy fuel pump or electrically noisy fuel pump. An electrically noisy fuel pump may just cause interference with the radio but otherwise run ok. Fuel pump that blows the fuse. Fuel pressure may drop because of either a fuel pump or a fuel filter.
Clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump.
The fuel pump pressure sensor monitors the fuel pressure of the vehicle.

Do a fuel pressure check-no fuel pressure means defective fuel pump-
It pumps fuel at a higher pressure than a standard fuel pump.
If it fuel injected drop the fuel tank - pump is in there
The fuel pump switch is what tells the fuel pump what pressure to pump fuel into the fuel rail
Could be a faulty check valve in the fuel pump, a leaky fuel injector poppet or a leaky fuel pressure regulator. My guess would be the fuel pressure regulator.
If there are no leak issues check your fuel pressure regulator, it may be letting too much fuel pass by, also if your fuel pump is getting tired it may act that way. Another thing to check is the fuel filter, a blockage that builds as the pump runs will cause pressure to drop.
Most fuel pumps on fuel-injected (high pressure fuel system) vehicles are located in the gas tank. The fuel submerges the pump and helps keep the pump cool. Excess heat will kill an electric fuel pump pretty quick.
Drop the tank, undo the ring on top and pull it out. How and where is the fuel pump on 1995 villager? Do I need to drop the fuel tank when I replace the fuel pump? Pls help me get answers?
