Trips of the green card holder should be for a period of less than 180 days on each trip. Making such short multiple trips is okay provided you have a valid reason behind.Problem would crop up only when you are applying for US citizenship for which continuous residence is an important eligibility criteria. So its important to keep a check on the time period you are outside US and also the number of times you travel abroad over a period of a year.
