The likelihood of a horse with OCD becoming a performance horse will greatly depend on what form of OCD they have and what level of performance you wish to compete at. Most horses show symptoms when they enter training and will either not be able to preform, or can be a candidate for surgery or some other type of treatment. Once this happens the horses performance level will likely decrease to the lowest levels of the chosen sport. It would be best to consult with a equine veterinarian for exact answers as each horse is different.
yep
They can, but their obsession will still be active.
The most common site of osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) in the hock of the horse is the distal intermediate ridge of the tibia (DIRT). This area is prone to developmental issues and can lead to joint pain and lameness. Early diagnosis and appropriate management are crucial for favorable outcomes in affected horses.

Yes, horses can have OCD. But it is not the human condition you're thinking of. OCD in horses refers to Osteochondrosis but not Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Osteochondrosis is a disease that affects a horses joints and is similar to a human experiencing "growing pains." Symptoms of osteochondrois include stiffness and lameness in the leg. See the related link below for more information on treatment.
a lot of people (i hav ocd)
It can be an effective reliever to the symptoms of OCD and has no side effects on your body unlike most of the drugs prescribed by physicians for the treatment of OCD. That being said, marijuana is still a drug and should not be abused. I myself use marijuana recreationaly and although the drug does not leave me with any physical craving, i still have a psychological craving when i am without it, all be it slight and not distracting from everyday life, it is still a craving regardless of form. What i am saying is that this and every other drug provided to us, even if by mother nature, should be respected and never abused. Marijuana is still a very beautiful medicine which i am grateful for. It is a drug i would have no problem recommending to you or anyone, i just thought it would be best to outline the "terms and conditions". Free the weed!
A fault in confirmation that does not affect performance Bomb Proof A horse that does not spook
He doesn't really have OCD
Definitely not!
Yes. I was watching a show about OCD, and one of the interviewers had OCD towards her family, thinking they were "contaminated."
