Yes they can, if they want to then yes.
they go and find things like hay or sticks and make it into a nest
To make a birds nest birds take sticks and basically anything that they find and then they make a nest out of it. Birds nests are all recycled!! hehehe... birds are amazing and can do amazing things!! Hope this helped!!
In trees
You should NEVER touch a bird's nest, because the nest has bird scent all over it and if a human hand or human scent comes in contact with it, the birds will sense that and never return to the nest even if the eggs or babies are in it.
No, you should leave the nest alone. Wild birds are very skittish around humans, treating humans as predators, and may abandon the nest if the scent of a human becomes too close. This would result in any eggs already laid in the nest also being abandoned and dying. The birds that built the nest either expect the nest to be protected from the rain or are adapted to sitting out the rain on the nest.
You can remove your love birds nest when the baby birds have moved away from the nest and have learned to fly. Make sure you use gloves to avoid touching bacteria that may have accumulated on the nest.
Many birds make their nest on a tree such as a Woodpecker, Nuthatch and a Tree Creeper.
Sometimes they can make out where a nest came from or if it is man-made or not. They will probably live there if they don't have a choice, but some birds would rather build their own nest.
yep ofcourse birds can carry their nest... while they carry it from chaff and from other things and store it together and finaly they make their own home. Then why not they can carry their nest..?
If the bird built it then it is generally called a nest. If it was made for the bird by a human it is generally called a birdhouse.
I wouldn't. If the nest is moved, and with human scent on it, the mother bird will usually abandon it. Leave it be until the baby birds are kicked out to fly on their own. Then it can be removed.
That depends on the type of bird.
