The laptop must have a certain kind of Bluetooth, though, and your iPod Touch must have Bluetooth capabilities (2nd generation and up). Bluetooth is the only way an iPod Touch can connect to a laptop wirelessly. The computer needs to be on a wireless network. this wireless network has to have the laptop and iPod touch connected at the same time.
