Absolutely NOT! This is considered fraud! Only person that are duly qualified can live in a home that is assisted by means of public housing or a housing choice voucher. Following those rules there is no need to sublease.

∙ 11y agoYou can rent a room on different sections as long as it is still available. DISREGARD ABOVE Under the section 8 voucher program, you're not allowed to rent part of a home. The voucher is meant for someone to move into a safe, decent, sanitary home. You would not make sense to simply rent a room, when you can rent a whole apartment, or even a house.
