As a side note, Mormons (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) do not practice polygamy and have not since the 1890s. Anyone found practicing polygamy in the Mormon church today is excommunicated.

NO
Polygamy is the act of having two or more spouses at one time. What legally counts as polygamy varies by state and by country. In some places, it simply means that you cannot be legally married to more than one person at a time. In other places, living a 'marriage-like' relationship (such as cohabiting or having sexual relationships) with two or more people, whether or not you are technically married, can get you legally convicted of polygamy.
As long as you have the legal documentation to prove you are married your marriage shoud be held valid in any other country. (there are some exceptions; for example in some countries polygamy is legal, but not in others)
