NO WAY DUDE
No. By 1941, Britain was on its knees and if the US had not entered the war in December of that year, Britain would eventually have been overrun by Nazi Germany.
Depends, if you entered the country LEGALLY but overstayed your visa, then you can get legal residence without leaving the U.S. if you entered the country ILLEGALY, then you CANNOT get legal residence in this country, you would be required to travel to the U.S. embassy/consulate of your home country.
Yes, a "Visa" is issued for "Entry" into the country, without one you are not seen to have entered the country legally (through a port of entry) and are subject to deportation.
You don't HAVE to be a citizen. Trust me, I became a member yesterday and posted 3 flipnotes without being a citizen.
If the immigrant is a true illegal (i.e. entered the country illegally/without inspection) even a marriage to a US citizen wont prevent him from facing possible deportation. Moreover, an immigrant CANNOT apply for citizenship, they must first apply for legal residency
After marrying a united states citizen you are considered llegal and will not be deported. Not sure of exact process, but when getting a marriage certificate to make the wedding authentic you could probably be directed from their office.
If you are not an Irish or British citizen, you will need a passport. Ireland and Britain have a free travel area arrangement, but most people will still bring a passport anyway. If you are not an Irish or British citizen, you will need a passport.
