It is said genetics play a major role, the part of the brain that develops a conscience in normal people doesn't develop in a sociopath. Even as infants they can't bond/connect with their parents or others the way a normal baby would. If the child grows up in a gloomy and unloving household, that only makes matters worse. Some people grow up horribly abused and turn out to be just fine; and some people grow up in loving households and turn out horrible. Some peoples' brain development/chemistry are out of whack from birth; and that, some doctors believe, is what makes a sociopath.

Babies can be red, bluish, purplish, or yellow at birth. They soon turn a normal color.
A) you cannot turn a truly gay person heterosexual. B) what is normal? C) are you a straight?
That is a good question, I dont think it is possible for an evil peron to change, because usually an evil person is a sociopath or a psychopath or mentally ill or is just plain insensitive so there is no "real" way to change a person like that unless they get born again which is impossible. Hope it's the answer you are looking for.

Sure. But so can people with leukemia, arthritis, and HIV. Having Bipolar Disorder doesn't automatically mean you'll turn out to be a sociopath.
