Suggested Answer Our ancient scriptures vehimently proclaims the atma is not subject to destruction. The birth cycle carries on until it attains liberation.

But person (in bodily sense) will reborn after waiving one body.

In scores of cases around the world, multiple witnesses confirm that children have spontaneously supplied names of towns and relatives, occupations and relationships, attitudes and emotions that pinpointed a single, dead individual -- often apparently unknown to their present families. Trying to make sense of these cases is what has involved Stevenson for almost 40 years. It is what we have been doing in Lebanon and India: examining records, interviewing witnesses and measuring the results against possible alternative explanations. . . If Stevenson is largely ignored by his mainstream peers, in some circles he is a scientific legend. His dogged collection of cases -- closing in on 3,000 now -- his meticulous documentation and cross-checking, his prodigious and scholarly publication have made him a hero to many people who would like respectable reasons to distrust the radical materialism of Western science. For his own part, Stevenson has reached this conclusion: "I think a rational person, if he wants, can believe in reincarnation on the basis of evidence." [2] See the Related Links for "Ian Stevenson" to the bottom for the answer. Shanti Devi, a girl growing up in Delhi in the 1930s, spoke very little until she was four years old. When she did start talking, she alarmed everyone in her family. "This is not my real home! I have a husband and a son in Mathura! I must return to them!" This was India, so instead of taking their daughter to a psychiatrist for a dose of Ritalin, her parents told her, "That was then. This is now. Forget your past life. You're with us this time." See the Related Links for "The Reincarnation of Shanti Devi" to the bottom for the answer. We will be reborn into each level of existence of which there are seven. Our progression dictates that we must fully experience these different level of mind in order to have completion as Jesus did. As far as physical rebirth, this will continue for as many lifetimes as necessary to complete our growing up. From The Bible (KJV) 1There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. 22After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. 23And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. 24For John was not yet cast into prison. 25Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 26And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. 27John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. 29He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30He must increase, but I must decrease. 31He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. 32And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. 33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Yes, a person can be reborn, but only through Jesus Christ. It says in the Bible that if you trust Jesus as your savior, or knowing that you are a sinner, and you need Christ to cleanse you. Being reborn is like you are leaving the life where you sinned against God, and following Christ and letting him take your life into his hands.

It is a very complex question, even if it appears to be rather straightforward. It could be that there are in fact degrees of being dead. If a man is drowning in extremely cold water and is beyond anyone's help, then the moment he stops breathing he is for all practical purposes dead. On the other hand, someone who has drowned in the same extremely cold water but whose body can be recovered within a certain timeframe (quite a few minutes as I understand it) can be revived with no permanent injury. There are extremely rare examples of people spontaneously reviving after being pronounced dead. There are other hard to explain examples of apparent death and subsequent revival. If someone can be revived, then can we conclude that whatever the circumstances, they weren't yet truly dead? Or can revival happen when there is little enough activity of any kind in the body to accurately pronounce death? It is not clear that anyone has come up with a universally applicable guideline. But certainly, there is a point beyond which there is no hope of intact revival. Or does that point advance as we learn more and more about medicine and human physiology? Here, the research and conclusions remain in the areas of medicine and the natural sciences.

From the perspective of religion, another set of factors comes into play, and these factors are not quantifiable. Some faith-based groups are comfortable interpreting the "death or near-death" testimonies of survivors as evidence of a connection with the spirit realm and with realities beyond the natural death experience. Here, the research and conclusions remain in the area of religion and faith.

Scientists say that they have seen people walking around who have been known dead. Duncan, one of the couple who have been seen back alive was said to be seen on top of a mountain by some scientists boating in Asia. Another one of the couple, Codie, was seen in a hot tub at an amusement park in west Virginia. I actually have not seen any, as that is because i do not look and am not a scientist. Although, if reincarnation exists, it could be the reason. But you will never know. asnd maybe no one ever will. or, it could be that there was someone very similar to the person, or someone in a disguise of the person. Very unlikely. Anyway, if you are interested any further, check other topics of this such, or research about it.

It might be possible, but also unpossible cause if the person is dead it won't, but that is why people stop researchs of reanimated and brain cell. In Frankenstein book said," Science without conscience may be, at least, harmful, and at the worst, lethal."

A:Christians believe so. They believe that Jesus rose from the dead after his crucifixion, and that he had previously raised Lazarus after Lazarus had been in his tomb for more than three days. These are matters of faith for Christians only.

Otherwise, no, people can not rise from the dead. People can be resucitated by doctors after their heart stops, as long as the brain is still alive, so the modern definition of death is based on cessation of brain function.
