Meningitis is spread through close contact, Kissing, coughing, sneezing etc. I have recently suffered from a form of meningitis, and I was told by the Doctors in hospital it is likely that I caught it from sharing a glass with someone carrying the bacteria and it entering my bloodstream through a cut in my lip.
