Can calamine lotion be used to treat ringworm?
No, Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin and should be treated with an anti fungal treatment. Calamine is not an anti fungal. Note that ringworm is very infectious and will spread from area to area and person to person with contact. It is best to see a qualified medical practitioner (a doctor) for an effective treatment.

Where can one get ringworm?
Basically ringworm isn't actually a worm, it is caused by a fungus. The fungi grow in warm, moist areas, e.g locker rooms/swimming pools. Ringworm is contagious and spreads when you have skin-to-skin contact with a person or animal that has it. It can also spread when you share things like towels, clothing, or sports gear. You can also get ringworm by touching an infected dog or cat, although this form of ringworm is not common.

Can a person live without a tongue?
That depends on how much of the tongue is gone. A person can live without the tongue if the tongue is only cut out a bit in the front. However if too much of the tongue is severed, then the person would most likely die. Tongue not only helps in speech and taste, but also has very important roles in digestion. Without a tongue, you will not be able to swallow. Your food would not churn, and ultimately, they would not be digested.
