No, that person cannot know for sure. No matter what is quoted from The Bible, God reserves the absolute right to grant mercy the way he wishes, and to exact justice from whom he wishes. The passages used to suggest otherwise are written to those who are already 'saved'. He has decided this from all eternities past. There will be many who will do everything right, including all the repenting and confessing of Christ as savior, but if they did not do it in response to the saving faith given by Godand God alone, then they are not saved. It is possible that these will have sincerely professed Christ, but in their humanbelief, understanding and faith. That is not enough. There are passages that refer to all who call upon the name of the Lord, but there are some meanings in scripture that are hidden, and not discernible by the unsaved, as we all know. Remember that there are those who will have called upon the name of the Lord, and the Lord will say to them "Get behind me; I never knew you". Salvation is for those who call upon the name of the Lord in response to God-given saving faith. No one demands to receive such faith.

While in the flesh and in a totally reprobate and fallen state, is it possible to do anything that brings me out of that state? No, it is not. By the time a person confesses, he is already in posession of the saving faith that God gives to him. There are those who will not be given this faith, and there is no way to know which group you are in. It is all according to God's pleasure, and there is no escaping it.

There is some comfort. Absolutely no one will receive any worse than what is deserved, and we all deserve damnation according to the standard Christian theologies. Some will be granted mercy and allowed to dwell in heaven for eternity. The rest will receive justice according to God's will, and we can take solace that we are all dealt with according to his perfect plan.

Answer:John wrote in his first letter in chapter 5, verse 13: "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." That's not double talk, that's saying you can be all the more confident to believe on Christ, because you know without a doubt that you have eternal life.

The Scripture tells us: "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God." Romans 8:16. The Holy Spirit resides in a true believer in Christ, giving him comfort that he is a child of God. Yet, it is a serious matter to make sure: "Give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall." 2 Peter 1:10. Also: "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates (rejects for unbelief)?" 2 Corinthians 13:5

How can you be sure that when you die God will let you into heaven?

You cannot. I know for sure that I will not be let into heaven because I do not believe there is a heaven.

Does the pope go to heaven?

Everyone is judged by Our Blessed Lord at the moment of death. No one can know if someone is in heaven or is going to heaven short of divine revelation. There are some popes in heaven, we know because they are canonized (declared saints) which means that they are in heaven. Those that are not canonized, we cannot know.

When people who committed suicide do those people still go to Heaven?

I think it really depends on the person's relationship with God before the suicide. There is no way to know for sure, but whether a person goes to heaven or hell depends on their life prior to their death.

If you say that you are most likely going heaven are you really going to hell?

From the point of view of most evangelical Christians, the answer most would give is yes. If I say that I am most likely going to heaven, I am not SURE that I am going to heaven. I am also likely to think that there is something more I should do in order to make my chances of heaven greater. All of this leads to the basic teaching that salvation (heaven) is assured to those who are 'born again', and only the 'born again' are going to heaven. So expressing any doubt indicates that I am not 'born again', and therefore I am not going to heaven.

What if your going out with a really nice person but there is another person you like better then them and they like you too and they are both smart funny and hotter then hell?

If you aren't sure who to date, tell the person your going out with that you need a little time to yourself or that you aren't sure about going out with him. In other words take a little time off from your relationship. Then get to know this other guy. If you like the other one better after you've gotten to know him, go out with him, otherwise just keep going out with your other boyfriend.

If everyone wants to go to heaven how come nobody wants to die?

If you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are going to heaven, then you wouldn't care if you're going to die. That doesn't mean you would want to die, that especially doesn't mean you'd committing suicide. All that means is if you're going to die, you don't have to worry about where you're going. Answer: Not everyone wants to go to Heaven. As Mark Twain discusses in "Letters From the Earth" Heaven may not be as pleasant as it is supposed to be. Other people would prefer a much more interesting thing to do with an eternity than any of the Heavens proposed in the Earth's many religions. As far as not wanting to die to get to Heaven, this is reportedly the reason that fanatics blow themselves up.
