Yes. A person with herpes can still do all they want to with their lives.
They should be able to find a partner that will be able to accept them and even get married to. Herpes isn't always passed on, there is a chance your partner may not get it, but they should be made aware of the risks.
There are even a few ways to help prevent passing herpes.
The person with herpes should ake antiviral medication regularly. This suppresses break outs and can help make them less likely to pass herpes in between break outs.
Never ever have sex if there is a break out comming or just healing. It's safer to have intercourse when there are absoloutly no signs of a break out.
Condoms can also be used in between break outs.
