I knew that I have this trait but loved a girl who was incidently found to be a carrier when she got prgnant after our marriage. Any we got a haematologist's cosult and on his prescription my wife went under investigation for baby in her womb. And with 3rd baby al-hamdu-li-Allah all are normal for tests and one boy 7years and a girl 2years are active and healthy. Third one to be born in feb. 2005. Inshallah. I think this should be kept in mind that woman has to go under painful procedures and if Allah forbid baby is abnormal(ie Thalassemia Major) he or she has to be terminated before 12 week of gestational age to avoid the misserable life later on.For that you ought to be bold if you dare to marry.
