I'm assuming you mean the puppies. Yes, you can ruin the blood line. Too many bad people have introduced too many bad traits, habits, and temperament into the breed for dog fighting. You don't want any of that in your dog if you want anything that can be considered for a contest ring. Go to a certified breeder, for show and competition, not for junk yard dogs or rap videos. Some certified breeders may allow you to have one of their sires stud with your dog for lots of money. Just spay and neuter your dog, if you're worried about strays you must be letting your dog roam free.
