Cheap lemonade will not kill your plant. I use a bit of lemonade on my plants and they don't seem to be affected in fact the opposite the plant lasts longer. Coke will kill your plants though and other variety of soft drinks but 20p lemonade seems to be fine
why waste good lemonade on something that really really prefers water?
