Can a positive pregnancy test result fade before you get a chance to check it The test said to check in 5 minutes but I had to attend to something and it was negative after 15 minutes?

It's unlikely. The result should remain for quite some time if not indefinitely, the 5 minute guideline is time to allow the test to process and present a result, meaning if you check before the 5 minutes, the test may not have processes and may not read correctly.
