A post Pounder can in fact drive posts through solid ground. It would work great for putting a fence into your property even if the ground is frozen solid.
One possibility suggested is to drive fence posts into ground at begining and end of the area and tightly tie a string and then LEVEL the string before measuring the distance from string to the ground at each fence post. Is there a better way?

For us muggles, the best goal posts I've seen have been created using a large bucket, a plastic pipe, and a hula hoop. The bucket was upside-down on the ground with the pie sticking out of the top through a hole. The hula hoop was then duct taped on to the pipe.
no it's just a touchback No. A field goal can only be scored from a placekick or dropkick. The ball has to have made contact with the ground before it was kicked.

The strong or strongest part of a fence line are its posts. Posts are generally placed partly into the ground for permanent fencing. Posts provide structure for the entire fence, whether using slats or chain-link in between the posts. Even wood panels used instead of slats are typically weaker than the posts they are attached to in the fence line.
