This would be almost impossible. Although occasionaly tubal ligation can fail as in a vasectomy for men the risk is less than one percent.

If the whole of your uterus has been removed then no you cannot be pregnant as there is nowhere for the fertilised egg to grow.

Can you have a tubal pregnancy after a partial hysterectomy?

Pregnancy After HysterectomyHysterectomy means removal of the uterus.A partial hysterectomy would be removal of part of the uterus, or removal of the uterus with the cervix left intact. In common usage many people refer to "partial hysterectomy" when they mean that the uterus is removed but the tubes and ovaries are left intact. As long as the tubes and ovaries remain it is possible to develop a tubal pregnancy after hysterectomy, though it is very rare. It can happen when sperm pass through the cervix or through a gap in the surgical closure and join an egg. The egg can then implant in the tube or within the abdomen.Such a pregnancy cannot survive. It is a very dangerous situation for the woman. If discovered late it can lead to life threatening internal bleeding.

Can you get pregnant 8yrs after tubal ligation?

The more time that passes after a tubal ligation the (slightly) higher the risk of regeneration of the fallopian tube/s. It is extremely rare but it can happen. Because there is scar tissue from the tubal ligation, there is also an increase chance of a tubal pregnancy. If your period suddenly stops, whether you are having symptoms of pregnancy or not, take a pregnancy test or see your OB / GYN.

What are your chances of a healthy pregnancy after a tubal pregnancy 2 years ago?

If you have had a tubal ligation and you want to become pregnant, it may happen, but you'll have better chances if you have a surgical procedure to reverse the tubal ligation. There is no guarantee that you'll experience success after a reversal, but the ability to reverse a tubal ligation is there and it will dramatically increase your chances of becoming pregnant again. Here is a website related to your question. HTH. http://www.amazingpregnancy.com/pregnancy-articles/486.html

Can you have a implanted pregnancy if your tubes have been tied and burned?

It is very rare but it can happen. There is less than a 2% chance of becoming pregnant after tubal ligation. Those that do become pregnant have a much higher risk than a woman that hasn't had the procedure for having a nonviable ectopic pregnancy. If you suspect that you may be pregnant after a tubal ligation you should see a Dr as soon as possible.

Is it possible to get pregnant 15 years after tubal ligation?

Although natural pregnancy could occur it is very slim. If it does happen naturally there is a very good chance that it would be ectopic. The most natural way to have a child after having a tubal ligation is with tubal ligation reversal. Surprising to many is the fact the tubal reversal has a better pregnancy rate than the alternative treatment of IVF. Not only does tubal ligation reversal have a better success rate it is more natural and less expensive than the alternative.

Can you get a negative pregnancy test result if your pregnant 10 yrs after a tubal ligation?

You will get a positive result if you are pregnant even after a tubal ligation. A pregnancy test tests for the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin Hormone. Or more commonly known as the HCG level. You could have a negative result and still be pregnant if it is too soon and your HCG level is too low. It does not happen often but there have been cases where woman have indeed become pregnant after a tubal ligation. Your best bet is to go see your doctor and get a blood test done. They are the most accurate even in the early stages of a pregnancy.

Can you still get pregnant if my tubes are tied?

While it can happen it is very rare for a woman to become pregnant naturally after having a tubal ligation. Most studies show that a woman has less than a 2% chance of becoming pregnant after having a tubal ligation. Most cases of pregnancy after the procedure usually occur in the first 3 months during the healing period and 10+ years after having procedure due to the tubes growing back together. This has become even fewer over the recent years due to changes in how the surgery is done. If you have had a tubal ligation and feel that you could be pregnant you should take a home pregnancy test and/or see your Dr right away to rule out the risk of an ectopic pregnancy ( a nonviable pregnancy outside of the uterus). Tubal ligation greatly increases your risk of ectopic pregnancy which can be life threatening.
