If you mean 7th after ovulation then no.

Once you have ovulated it can take a day or two for the egg to fertilise and then about a week for it to implant in the lining of your uterus. The most accurate time to test is the day after you've missed you period.

I know it seems hard to wait that long, i took my pregnancy test about 10 days after sex and the test was invalid because I had'nt waited long enough.

I'd say just wait till your due.

No pregnancy test can detect pregnancy that early. It takesabout 2 weeks for your body to produce the hormone that would test you as positive.

Is HCG pregnancy test a reliable pregnancy test for a 15-day delayed period?

If your period is more than 2 weeks late, yes an HCG blood test will certainly be able to detect the pregnancy hormone. Home pregnancy tests will work as well.

Could a prenancy test detect im pregnant after 4 days being late?

The standard time frame for taking a pregnancy test is the 1st day after your missed period. Many home tests these days (like the clearblue easy) can detect the levels of hormones that indicate pregnancy 4 days before your period is due. If you are sure about your cycle length and are positive that you are 4 days late, then yes a pregnancy test can easily detect the pregnancy hormones.

What is the earliest a dr can detect pregnancy with a urine test?

Can drinking an energy drink give you a false negative on a pregnancy test?

Caffeine itself will not alter the results of a pregnancy test. However, caffeine is a diuretic, which can dilute the urine. This may make it more difficult for a urine-dependent pregnancy test to detect the pregnancy hormones. For the most accurate results, perform a pregnancy test when you first urinate in the morning. Your urine will be most concentrated at that point in the day and the test will be more accurate.

How soon can a pregnancy test detect pregnancy?

Usually, it can be indicated by a test around the first day of the missed period. Sometimes up to 4 days prior. I am 6 weeks pregnant now and my pregnancy home test detected it the day of my missed period..and if you go to the doctor the day of your missed period and they do a blood test, they will tell you if you are pregnant.Blood test is really the only certain/definate way.. I took a pregnancy test a week before my period was even due, with my first child and it came back positive.

Why would a home pregnancy test show up negative and a day later show up positive?

On the box it will tell you at how many days it will detect pregnancy. You were probably right at the line on the first day, and the second your body had produced enough of the hormones to show up positive on a titer test.

Is it possible to have a positive pregnancy test and a negative pregnancy test on the same day?

Yes. there are many reasons this could happen. 1) your hcg levels are highest in the morning 2) you didn't take the pregnancy test right, 3) the pregnancy test could have malfunctioned. these are just a few reasons. I would wait a couple of days and try again. Take the test first thing in the morning when you wake up, this is the easiest time for the pregnancy test to detect if you are pregnant or not.

Can you take a pregnancy test on the day you are supposed to start your period?

Yes, the home tests are all usually quite reliable by this stage. Some more expensive tests can detect it earlier, as will a blood test.

How soon after conception can a home pregnancy test can detect pregnancy?

Some of today's early pregnancy tests can test as soon as 10 days after ovulation (which is usually around the same day that you had sex, it could possibly be 2-3 after sex but never before). The safest bet is to wait 19 days after having sex. If you still test negative, you are probably not pregnant.

What is the earliest time a pregnancy be detected and when can a blood test detect the pregnancy?

If a woman has cycles that are NOT 28 days, then this information will not be accurate. Generally speaking, a positive on a home pregnancy test can appear up to five days before you MISS your period, so that would be FOUR days before your period is due - again, this assuming you have a 14 day luteal phase (the time between ovulation and menstuation). What does this mean? It is possible that some tests will pick up a positive at 10 days post-ovulation. It is uncommon, but some women have gotten a positive result a day or two earlier than this. Most women will NOT experience a positive result until after they have missed their period. A doctor's urine test is no more accurate than an over-the-counter pregnancy test, but a blood beta would be able to detect pregnancy a day or two sooner than a urine test.
