YES they are a MAJOR SCAM, they had property for rent, I thought I was renting it because all my paperwork states rental... but after my "lease" was finished due to them breaking the agreement by not fixing major things, they put it on my credit as a mortgage. I fought it in court and won and they still refuse to take it off my credit....
your company got you to sign an authorisation form when you took your company credit card. This form contains a joint and several liability clause. This clause means that if your company does not pay their credit card bill then you will be liable for it. Is this unfair? Yes. You should categorically refuse to sign one of these/
A credit card company can refuse your offer of settlement and proceed with legal action. They must win their court case and have a judgment declared against you before your wages or bank account can be garnished.
The creditor can file suit against the debtor and if the creditor is successful and is awarded a judgment the judgment can be executed against all non exempt real and personal property belonging to the judgment debtor.
Yes they can for several reasons. If you don't have an account with them can plus they can charge you a fee if they do. If there is something that looks wrong with the check they can refuse. Sometimes checks are stolen and if the check you have is from that company they can refuse. If the account is closed they can refuse.
If it is company property then the ex-employee has no choice but to return it! If they refuse then the company can report it to police as a theft and you can be charged criminally.
bad credit, no credit card, age, no license, history of accidents
The management company has been hired and contracted to work for the association by the board. If the board believes that the management company has been contracted to 'take care' of the property, and has failed to do so, the board may take action against the vendor. The board can also cancel the vendor's contract and refuse to give the company a good recommendation to other associations in the area. However, key here is that it is the board's responsibility to 'take care' of the property, and that they have chosen to vendor out the tasks does not remove the responsibility from the board. You may want to take action against the board by removing them and voting in board members who can 'take care' of the property.

You won't get ticketed on private property, but if a claim has to be filed for an accident which ensues from an unlicenced driver operating solo on private property, that insurance company may refuse the claim, and even refuse to further ensure that truck or fleet.

Yes, I would think so, contact them and ask for it, if they refuse, ask for (in writing) the reasons you cannot have it.
