The evidence is only preliminary but it does suggest that D-Ribose can be helpful to patients with congestive heart failure. It seems to aid the recovery of ATP levels and therefore diastolic function. It does also suggest that D-Ribose can help prevent heart failure. However this answer should not replace the advice of a qualified physician.
