When the universal joint on a cv starts to go out it will start destroying other parts making the whole repair more and more expensive, wait too long and the car will break for real causing you to be stranded and yes possible at high speed to cause injuries to you or others.

Maybe. Depends on speed of car
Yes
A key not programed for the car will cause the computer to lock out and not allow the car to run. Many cars require a visit to the dealer to be reset if this happens. If this is what you mean by damage then yes
This would depend completely upon the cause of the damage. If a tree fell on the car during a major storm and broke the windshield completely and then rain from the storm caused damage then yes if the policy had comprehensive coverage, it would pay for the damage. The cause of the damage would be covered if it was a covered cause.
Your car insurance protects you from the financial liability of damage you cause to another person's car, or an injury you cause to other people with your car. It can also protect you from damage to your own car, including damage from collisions, theft, vandalism, and bad weather.
No damage to the car but you're releasing harmful emissions into the air.
