I have a block fringe and front layers but want a side fringe are the front layers going to be a problem when I ask the hairdresser to put a side fringe in?
The front layers should not prevent the stylist from giving you a side fringe. The key to transitioning between types of bangs is to know that, at least at first, it may take awhile for your side fringe to grow long enough to look the way you expect.

a good way in testing is if you have your hair round your face fathered and shaped then pull a bit of hair across from the one side to the other then that is like a side fringe and you can test that to see if you want it done permantly
